The Michigan chapter of the Solid Axle Corvette Club will be hosting this year's National Convention in the Motor City of Detroit, Michigan.
The host hotel and home base will be at the Embassy Suites in Livonia, MI
Don Eckhart is coordinating a cruise from the Dallas area, with parts of the trip following Route 66.

Corvette Museum's 25th Anniversary Corvette Caravan
Corvette Legends of Texas will be joining the caravan in Thackerville, OK then continue on to Bowling Green.

The Cowtown Corvette group will meet at the QT gas station, 8141 Gasoline Alley, Northlake, TX at 7:00 am, across from Texas Motor Speedway, exit 70, off I-35W, parking lot August 27.
We will leave the parking lot promptly at 7:15 am heading north on 35W. The Corvette Legends group should be at the Braum’s Ice Cream store on Route 380 just off I-35 north of Denton by 7:30 am. Actual address is 2922 W. University Drive, Denton.
The Cowtown Group will meet up with the Legends group around 7:40 am. Together we will leave heading for WinStar Casino in Thackerville, Oklahoma, by 8:00 am. At the Casino we will meet up with Shawn Jones who is leading the Southern Texas caravan to Little Rock, Arkansas, for the night and then on to Bowling Green. On August 31, after the caravan festivities conclude, the “After Caravan Trip” begins.
Note: Anyone on the list of participants not planning to meet at the Braum’s should contact Larry to let us know not to wait for you.
